Job Title: Senior Accountant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our team at BAE Systems (New). As a Senior Accountant, you will play a key role in driving financial planning and analysis, leading the day-to-day financial reporting processes, and managing a team of FP&A professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the financial planning and analysis function, providing high-quality financial insights and recommendations to the business.
  • Manage the day-to-day financial reporting processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting to stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement process improvements, leveraging data visualization and analytics to drive business decisions.
  • Lead and manage a team of FP&A professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure their success.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business performance and achieve strategic objectives.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA, ICAEW) – AAT will not be accepted.
  • Excellent MS Office skills, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to present to a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Organized and proactive self-starter, with a passion for process improvement and data visualization.
