Secondary Science Educator Opportunity

We are seeking a qualified secondary school science teacher to join our team in the Birmingham area. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in chemistry and the ability to design engaging lesson plans.

About the Role

This is a full-time, permanent position that requires the teacher to develop and implement a curriculum that promotes an understanding of chemistry. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all students develop the skills and understanding needed to be successful in their future careers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver engaging chemistry lessons to students at KS3 and KS4 levels
  • Develop and implement a curriculum that promotes an understanding of chemistry
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback to students and parents
  • Work collaboratively with other teachers to develop and implement school policies

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience teaching KS3 and KS4 science
  • Strong classroom management skills
  • Good communication skills
  • A valid DBS check or be willing to process one
