About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Operations Manager to join our team at Service Care Solutions - Construction. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of our estate maintenance section, including staff, contractors, and suppliers.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Management
- Lead and manage a team of maintenance operatives to ensure the effective delivery of estate maintenance services.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve team performance and productivity.
- Contractor and Supplier Management
- Manage relationships with contractors and suppliers to ensure the delivery of high-quality services.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve contractor and supplier performance.
- Operational Planning
- Develop and implement operational plans to ensure the effective delivery of estate maintenance services.
- Monitor and report on operational performance to ensure compliance with company standards.
- Quality Assurance
- Develop and implement quality assurance processes to ensure the delivery of high-quality services.
- Monitor and report on quality performance to ensure compliance with company standards.
- Health and Safety
- Develop and implement health and safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Monitor and report on health and safety performance to ensure compliance with company standards.
Requirements
- Qualifications
- HNC / NVQ3 or equivalent education, with (or working towards) IOSH level 3, or significant experience in construction / management or relevant experience in managing property maintenance operations.
- A relevant professional qualification e.g. CIOH, RICS, CIOB etc. is desirable with evidence of continually developing professional knowledge.
- Experience
- Junior level management experience with a practical knowledge of the construction / property maintenance industry and a detailed understanding of providing an effective responsive and planned maintenance and void property service with knowledge, understanding and experience of managing a geographically dispersed and diverse workforce.
