About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated nurse to join our team in Ward 10E, Royal London Hospital. As a Surgical Wards Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the hospital's mission to deliver excellent care to all patients.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Providing direct patient care and enhancing the well-being of patients through developing specific clinical competencies and enhancing knowledge through a lifelong learning approach.
- Working closely with the vascular team to ensure the smooth admission pathway from the front door to either the emergency surgical ambulatory care unit or the admissions ward.
- Developing expert knowledge in assessment, complex wound management, care of cancer patients, management of vascular conditions, and effective patient flow.
- Using initiative to improve service delivery and adapting to changes in the service.

Person Specification
The ideal candidate will have:
- RGN/RN qualification.
- Intravenous accreditation.
