Electrical Stationary Waste Management Systems Engineer Job Overview

Bennett and Game Recruitment is pleased to be working with a reputable client based in the Rochdale area, who are seeking an Electrical Stationary Waste Management Systems Engineer to join their busy service and repair team. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out service, maintenance, and repair of electrical industrial waste management systems, working on a range of electrical equipment, including lifts, electric motors, switchgear, and production line equipment.


Key Responsibilities:
  1. Carrying out service, maintenance, and repair of electrical industrial waste management systems
  2. Receiving instruction from the Service Team Manager and managing own progress
  3. Completing all relevant paperwork
  4. Commuting to the workshop on a daily basis, with a pool van provided for customer site visits

Requirements:
  1. A background in the repair of electrical industrial waste management systems or similar equipment
  2. Roughly a 50/50 mechanical/electrical skillset
  3. Mechanical or electrical qualifications
  4. Reliable, self-motivated, and trustworthy
  5. Based within commutable distance of Rochdale
  6. Happy to stay away for around 4 nights per month
  7. Full UK Driving Licence

Benefits:
  1. Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 + working away allowance
  2. Overtime paid 1.5x or 2x for Sundays
  3. Hours Monday - Friday 08:00 - 17:00, weekends optional
  4. Private healthcare, including dental and eye care, with yearly medicals, eye care, and childcare vouchers
  5. 31 days holiday including Bank Holidays
  6. Team building and company events
  7. Canteen with free tea and coffee, onsite washing and drying facilities
  8. Company clothing provided, including coats, jackets, and shirts
  9. Health and safety clothing and training provided
  10. Onsite parking
