About the Role

The emh Group is seeking a skilled Facilities Technician to join their team at the head office in Coalville. As a key member of the Facilities team, you will be responsible for providing reactive and preventative maintenance to ensure the facilities are safe and functional for employees across all EMH office sites.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out minor maintenance repairs to all office buildings, including offices, toilets, meeting rooms, kitchens, communal areas, and external spaces.
  • Ensure all Health and Safety procedures and policies are upheld, and any issues are reported in a timely manner.
  • Perform basic maintenance tasks, such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and painting.
  • Plan and schedule maintenance works to minimize disruptions.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in maintaining building elements, fixtures, and fittings, both interior and exterior.
  • Experience with planning and scheduling of maintenance works.
  • Ability to work independently and perform basic maintenance tasks.
  • Strong attention to detail and competence in using electrical power and hand tools.
  • Excellent communication skills and confidence to deal with a range of stakeholders.
  • Good level of IT competence.
  • Ability to travel between different sites.
