Maintenance Specialist

We are excited to offer a unique opportunity to join Siamo Recruitment, a division of Siamo Group, as a Maintenance Technician. Our client, a renowned engineering firm in Cirencester, is seeking a dedicated professional to play a pivotal role in their growing team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering, preferably within a manufacturing environment, and possess excellent knowledge of industrial electrical systems and circuits. They will be able to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team, demonstrating a genuine interest in the company's operations and the wider industry.
As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for conducting routine maintenance and repairs on a diverse array of machinery, including bespoke equipment. You will adhere to pre-established maintenance schedules, ensuring the consistent upkeep of parts to minimize breakdowns and prevent major operational disruptions.
Key responsibilities will include collaborating with technicians and production teams to enhance and develop maintenance schedules, providing detailed reports to the Engineering Manager on equipment failures, and completing all necessary documentation and maintenance logs following task completion.
The successful candidate will have a full UK driving license and be able to operate machinery such as lathes, mills, grinders, and other tools for the fabrication of parts as required. They will also be able to accurately interpret technical drawings when necessary and assist in the installation of new tools and machinery as required.

Key responsibilities as a Maintenance Technician:

- Be well-versed in previous exposure working with fine tolerances
- Offer a basic understanding of engineering principles
