About the Role

Senior Java Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Java Developer to join our team at Apexon. As a Senior Java Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining large-scale software applications using Java and related technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop high-quality, maintainable code for complex software solutions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements
  • Partner with clients to understand their business needs and develop tailored solutions
  • Mentor junior developers and provide guidance on best practices and technologies

Requirements

  • 6+ years of commercial software engineering experience in Java, Spring, and Microservices
  • Proven experience in service-oriented architecture development and TDD/BDD
  • Experience working in an Agile environment and with DevOps tools such as Jenkins and Sonar
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to build strong professional relationships
  • Curiosity and a desire to continuously learn and develop new skills
  • Good problem-solving skills and a bachelor's degree or master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of React/Angular frameworks and financial services or software consulting experience
