We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Research Chemist to join our R&D team at SRG. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and delivering project plans resulting in the creation of new and existing products.

• Devising and managing projects to develop new functional chemical compounds and products
• Designing and carrying out lab-based experiments, synthesis, and characterisation of new products
• Working closely with Applications Chemists to establish test methods, evaluate viability, and performance of compounds in market formulations
• Maintaining an awareness of product development and trends in specific industry and project areas
• Liaising with other internal R&D teams to share information, collaborate, and contribute to parallel or long-term R&D projects

• Minimum BSc/MSc in Chemistry, with ideal candidates holding a PhD in Chemistry
• Proven industrial experience of researching the application of polymer/synthetic chemistry products
• Able to use creative synthetic techniques to produce new functional compounds
