About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Early Intervention Specialist to join our team in Barking and Dagenham. As an Early Intervention Specialist, you will play a crucial role in providing support to young children and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To plan, organise and deliver high-quality early intervention services for children aged birth to 5 years.
  • To work in partnership with parents/carers and other professionals to promote wellbeing and support children develop to their full potential.

Requirements:

  • A Level 3 qualification in child development or equivalent qualification or job experience.
  • Ability to become accredited in the 'Peeple' and 'Solihull' programmes within the first three months.
  • Understanding of the impact of poverty, cultural difference and isolation on how families engage with services.
  • Experience of delivering early intervention and prevention projects or community programmes with vulnerable communities, families or children.
  • Understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage principles and how to implement this to support child development and learning.

What We Offer:

  • An estimated salary of £28,000 - £32,000 per annum.
