Job Description:

About the Role

TACT is seeking a skilled and experienced social worker to undertake Form F assessments as a self-employed worker. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting face-to-face assessments with prospective foster carers, ensuring that all checks and references are completed, and providing regular updates to the supervisor.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake and complete Form F assessments within the specified timescale
  • Visit personal referees as identified on the application form
  • Ensure all checks and references are completed
  • Provide regular written updates to the supervisor
  • Liaise with the administrative team regarding administrative checks and completion of the Form F
  • Be available for supervision, consultation, or liaison as required
  • Present completed Form Fs to the virtual fostering panel and provide support to applicants
  • Be aware of child protection procedures and report any concerns to a TACT manager and relevant authorities
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to be DipSW, CSS, or CQSW qualified and registered with the relevant regulatory body. An Enhanced DBS/PVG check will be required, which will be undertaken by TACT on your behalf.

What We Offer

As a self-employed worker with TACT, you will have the opportunity to work with a reputable and well-established charity, providing high-quality services to vulnerable children and young people. You will be paid £2000 (inclusive of VAT) upon successful completion of a Form F Assessment, and £33 per hour for assessments that are not completed.
