Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Expert to join our team at Bradford District Care NHS Foundation Trust. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced consultant psychiatrist to lead our CAMHS service, providing high-quality care to children and young people across Bradford and surrounding areas.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering psychiatric services to children and young people, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care pathways. With a focus on innovative practice, you will have opportunities to develop and implement new approaches to improve patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership and oversight to the CAMHS service
  • Develop and maintain relationships with local partners and stakeholders
  • Promote evidence-based practice and continuous quality improvement
  • Supervise junior staff and support their professional development
Person Specification

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • A Certificate of Completion of Training in General Adult Psychiatry or equivalent
  • Inclusion on the Specialist Register or eligibility for inclusion
  • Section 12 (2) MHA 1983 approval and Approved Clinician status

You will also require excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
