The salary for this position is up to £55,125 per annum.

  • Provide strategic support and guidance to colleagues and other professionals in complex situations.
  • Apply extensive knowledge of practice, theory, and legislation to enhance procedures and policies, promote innovation, and introduce new ways of working from recognised sites of excellence.
  • Model the effective assessment and management of risk in complex situations, across a range of scenarios, including positive risk-taking situations.
  • Lead on safeguarding issues in collaboration with senior team members.
  • Provide professional support, advice, and/or supervision.
  • Monitor and support the performance management and development of team members using a coaching approach, to ensure individual contributions are maximised.
  • Contribute to organisational change and development, addressing performance management issues as needed.
  • When required, monitor and manage delegated resources in accordance with council policies and procedures.

Key Requirements:

This role requires a highly skilled and experienced individual who can provide expert guidance and support in complex situations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of safeguarding principles and be able to apply this knowledge in a practical context.
