Oasis Recovery Communities Bradford is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Addiction Counsellor to join our team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality support and guidance to individuals struggling with substance misuse.

About the Role

  • Provide expert counselling, support, and advice to clients affected by substance misuse.
  • Collaborate with probation services, health workers, and other agencies to ensure seamless referrals and access to services.
  • Promote health and well-being through detoxification and stabilisation activities.
  • Contribute to internal and external forums, promoting equality, diversity, and client rights.
  • Carry out drug testing and uphold Oasis Bradford's policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Level 4 or higher qualification in Counselling or an equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum of two years' direct client work, with at least one year in a therapeutic setting focused on substance misuse.
