Job Overview
Veolia is seeking a skilled Environmental Compliance Specialist to manage our environmental and quality systems, ensuring compliance with regulations and maintaining high standards of performance.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage the delivery and reporting of the environmental monitoring programme.
  • Ensure sampling and monitoring requirements are met.
  • Maintain an overview of ERF SHEQ performance, producing KPI's, monitoring trends and producing summary reports for Managers & Directors.
  • Liaise and manage third party contractors as required for the delivery of the environmental monitoring programme.

Requirements:
  • Understanding of regulations covering industrial processes, emissions, Industrial emissions directive, Environmental Permitting and waste management and Waste incineration regulations.
  • Positive, flexible approach to duties with ability to use initiative, solve problems and work to tight deadlines under pressure.
  • Competence to advise on environmental compliance and delivery of improvements.
  • Current driving licence.
  • Understanding the importance of health and safety within an industrial environment.

Estimated Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 per annum (dependent on experience).
