About the role as Heating System Design Engineer at Aira

As a key member of our brand-new team in Scotland, you'll be responsible for designing domestic heat pump systems that are efficient, reliable, and compliant with MCS and manufacturers' guidance.

Key responsibilities as Heating System Design Engineer at Aira

  • Pipe sizing, heat loss, radiator sizing, and noise assessment.
  • You'll need to ensure our installations are compliant with planning regulations and MCS.
  • Deliver schematic diagrams that effectively communicate installation requirements to installers.
  • Support and work closely with installers.

Requirements for Heating System Design Engineer at Aira

  • You'll need to have the necessary qualifications, training, and experience to design high-quality air source heat pump installations for domestic properties.
  • Level 2 / 3 Award in plumbing.

Desirable qualifications for Heating System Design Engineer at Aira

  • Qualifications in system design, such as Heat Geek Heating Mastery.
  • Level 3 Award in installation and maintenance of air source heat pump systems.
  • Level 3 Award Low temperature heating and hot water systems in dwellings.
