Job Opportunity: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Psychology Graduate to join our team as a Support Children's Mental Health Specialist. This is an excellent opportunity for a practitioner who has experience of supporting children or vulnerable adults with their mental health.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaising with outside agencies to provide support to individual and small groups of children.
  • Providing support to individual and small groups of children in the classroom and intervention classrooms.
  • Liaising with class teachers regarding individual children and delivering 1:1 sessions.

Requirements:

  • Qualified up to Degree level.
  • Ability to build excellent relationships with children and families.
  • Open-minded and committed to inclusion.

Working Hours: 8:45-15:30 each day (some days hours may be slightly longer due to staff meetings). Rates of pay are competitive for work of this nature and vary from £350-£450 per week.

Teaching Personnel: We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. We undertake safeguarding checks on all workers in accordance with DfE statutory guidance 'Keeping Children Safe in Education'. This may also include an online search as part of our due diligence on shortlisted applicants.
