About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Salaried General Practitioner to join our team at Donnington Medical Centre. As a Salaried GP, you will be responsible for managing a caseload and providing high-quality patient care in a primary care setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake a variety of duties, including surgery consultations, telephone consultations, home visits, and dealing with queries, paperwork, and correspondence in a timely fashion.
  • Make professional, autonomous decisions in relation to presenting problems.
  • Assess the health care needs of patients with undifferentiated and undiagnosed problems.
  • Screen patients for disease risk factors and early signs of illness.
  • Develop care plans for health in consultation with patients.
  • Provide counselling and health education.
  • Admit or discharge patients and refer to other care providers as appropriate.
  • Record clear and contemporaneous consultation notes.
  • Compile and issue computer-generated acute and repeat prescriptions.
  • Prescribe in accordance with the practice prescribing formulary whenever clinically appropriate.

  • Registered with the GMC listed on the GMC GP Register with evidence of revalidation.
  • Accepted Medical Degree.
  • Evidence of continued personal and professional development.
  • Appropriate safeguarding training.
  • Registered on the National Medical Performers list.
