A leading healthcare organization in the region is seeking a Dental Care Leader to play a critical role in shaping and supporting our integrated care board. As part of our dynamic team, you will provide leadership and expertise to design, develop, and implement strategic plans to improve dental provision in Cornwall and Isles of Scilly. The successful candidate will engage with dental practices, community, and acute providers, as well as the wider ICB team, to enhance the quality and effectiveness of dental services in the county.

The Clinical Lead will work closely with the Chief Medical Officer and Relationship Director for Primary Care to achieve annual priorities and objectives. With autonomy to undertake their role, the post-holder will make suggestions to the Director and Dental Strategy Group. Progress monitoring will be conducted by the ICB's Primary Care Commissioning Committee, ensuring accountability to the ICB Board, Cornwall's Health Overview and Scrutiny Committee, and NHSE.

We are looking for an experienced clinician with credibility and the ability to command respect from clinical dental teams and non-clinical professionals. A good understanding of using data to improve quality and productivity, as well as knowledge of the broader NHS framework and current policies, is essential. Creative and innovative thinking will drive this role forward. The ideal candidate will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships with dental clinical teams in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly. A strong understanding of how to use software packages such as MS Office is also required. The estimated salary for this position is £**85,000-110,000 per annum**.
