Job Overview

Location: Stockport

Salary: £25,000 per annum + uncapped commission

Working Hours: 44 hours weekly, Monday-Friday (9am-6pm), Saturday (9am-5pm), Sunday (10am-4pm), 1 hour lunch break, every third weekend off and 1 weekday off each week

Lookers Stockport is seeking an ambitious and experienced Sales Professional to join our hard-working and friendly team. Specialising in new and used car sales, you will work alongside our passionate sales team to provide exceptional customer service.

You will be a team player with exceptional communication skills to build rapport with colleagues and customers. Not only will you be joining one of the top automotive retailers in the UK, but you will also be reporting to Naomi Franklin (General Manager) who will help you develop your skills and establish a strong career within the industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Communicate with customers to understand their needs and preferences
  • Suggest suitable vehicles based on customer requirements
  • Arrange and accompany customers on test drives
  • Negotiate the final price for the sale
  • Complete the relevant paperwork for each sale

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, be self-motivated and passionate about the automotive industry. You will be expected to hit sales targets, so being ambitious and hard-working is essential.

Previous experience in a similar position and within the motor trade would be preferred, but not essential. You will hold a full UK driving license as you may be expected to drive some of the most prestigious cars on the market.
