Job Overview

Seeking a highly skilled Mathematics Teacher for a role in a Secondary School in Cardiff. The successful candidate will have experience teaching Key Stage 3 and 4, with a strong track record of delivering engaging lessons to Year 7, 8, and 9 students, as well as GCSE classes.

The salary for this position is £160.00 per day minimum.

About the Role

This is a challenging yet rewarding opportunity for an experienced Maths Teacher to join our team. As a key member of the school community, you will be responsible for leading a classroom of learners, preparing the classroom for lessons, and delivering high-quality lessons in line with the national curriculum. You will also engage learners with classroom and lab-based activities, working in accordance with the school's behaviour management policies.

Candidate Requirements

We are looking for a candidate who holds Qualified Teacher Status or an overseas equivalent, with at least one year of Maths teaching experience. Exceptions may be made for NQTs. Additionally, you must hold registration as a Teacher with the EWC, provide references covering the last two years, and hold a current Enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one. The right to work in the UK is also essential.
