Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Graduate Consents Officer to join our Strategic Infrastructure team in Leeds. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering project consents economically and in accordance with current legislation, regulations, and guidance.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Lead, manage, and coordinate the delivery of minor project consents and allocated consenting activities for major projects.
  • Collaborate with the Consents team to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices.
  • Prepare, update, and communicate comprehensive Consents (& Land) Strategies for projects, identifying project-specific good practice and lessons learned.
Requirements:

To excel in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Town & Country Planning, Environment Assessment, or Sustainability, with a minimum 2:2 classification.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and adapt to changing priorities.
