Job Description

As a Strategic Contract Procurement Specialist at NTT Global Data Centers, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strategic relationships with third-party suppliers to maximize value, quality, efficiency, and leverage capability. This role involves driving growth ambitions by creating and further developing processes for vendor management and KPI matrices. You will schedule frequent meetings with suppliers and stakeholders to ensure fulfillment of contract KPIs and contribute to the development of the management framework. Additionally, you will address supplier issues collaboratively with procurement and legal teams to resolve concerns and provide support/advice to key stakeholders on all aspects of supplier and contract management strategy and practice.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build relationships and close collaboration ranging from local site operations to Senior Directors resolving supplier performance issues as point of contact for escalations.
  • Create and further develop processes for vendor management and a KPI Matrix.
  • Schedule frequent meetings with suppliers and stakeholders concerning fulfillment of contract KPIs.
  • Contribute to further development of the management framework.
  • Address supplier issues collaboratively with procurement and legal teams to resolve concerns.
  • Provide support/advice to key stakeholders on all aspects of supplier and contract management strategy and practice.

Requirements:
  • Possess excellent organizational and project management skills and be able to prioritize your own workloads without supervision.
  • Be highly proficient with the use of IT equipment and software systems, including a very good knowledge of MS Office.
  • Business fluency in English is essential; additional languages such as German would be desirable.
  • Several years of experience in technical operations in industries such as data centers, industrial, pharmaceutical, production plants, or power plants.
  • Outstanding commercial, negotiation, and planning skills.

Estimated Salary: $100,000 - $120,000 per year.
