Job Description
Senior Category Manager - Capital Projects required to drive capital construction and engineering procurement excellence within the pharma portfolio. This role involves leading capital project delivery, ensuring alignment with business cases, customer requirements, and regulatory obligations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective capital procurement and contract strategies for UK capital projects, driving value and efficiency through process improvements.
- Manage stakeholder relationships with internal customers and external suppliers, fostering open communication and collaboration to meet project objectives.
- Implement robust contracting and procurement strategies, including EPCM, EPC, and IPD models, to ensure successful project delivery and minimize risk.
- Lead work package sourcing efforts, aligning with global category strategies and securing best-value outcomes for Undisclosed.
- Monitor and report on procurement and contracts performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions to maintain high standards.
- Foster strong relationships with main contractors, negotiating agreements that balance commercial needs with strategic objectives.
- Conduct regular business reviews with senior management to ensure client requirements are met and continue to evolve as the business grows.
Requirements
- 6-10 years' experience in capital construction and engineering, preferably in a similar role.
- Advanced understanding of contractual risk allocation across various delivery models.
- Excellent analytical skills, with ability to extract key information from complex datasets.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with proven track record of influencing behaviors in a changing environment.
Additional Information
