Innovate is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Project Manager to lead a portfolio of diverse, high-value defence projects within the public sector. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in delivering these projects to time, cost, and quality standards, while developing strong relationships with customers and the internal engineering team.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage complex technical projects from start to finish, ideally in an engineering context, ensuring successful delivery on schedule, within budget, and meeting top quality standards.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Develop and implement project plans, resource allocation, and budgeting, ensuring alignment with company objectives and stakeholder expectations.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, including active DV Clearance.
Requirements
- Proven experience managing complex technical projects, ideally in an engineering context, with a strong track record of successful delivery.
- Knowledge of composites is a bonus, but a passion for technology development and innovation is essential.
- Experience in the Defence sector, with a strong understanding of bid proposals and active DV Clearance.
