Job Title: HR Administrator / Officer

We are seeking an experienced HR Administrator / Officer to join our team at AWD online. As a key member of our Human Resources department, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our line managers and ensuring the smooth operation of our HR function.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer HR paperwork and databases, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records of all dealings with staff.
  • Support line managers with recruitment, including assistance with job descriptions and advising on terms and conditions of employment.
  • Provide guidance on HR policy and procedures, ensuring adherence to legislation and best practice.
  • Carry out payroll preparation and maintain confidentiality and act with discretion and diplomacy.
  • Take minutes in meetings between line managers and staff, and have good general knowledge of HR legislation and its practical application.
Requirements:
  • Proven HR generalist experience, including understanding legal / contract requirements.
  • Good organisational skills and ability to maintain accurate records.
  • Ability to communicate at all levels within the organisation.
  • The ability to work under pressure and time constraints when necessary.
  • Good IT Skills.
