About the Role

hVIVO is seeking a skilled Laboratory Technician to contribute to the success of our clinical trials. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will be responsible for processing, storing, and transporting subject samples in accordance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) standards.

Main Responsibilities

  • Process and store samples according to analytical plans, ensuring timely completion and adherence to GCP standards.
  • Develop and maintain documentation related to sample receipt, processing, and storage.
  • Perform molecular, cell culture, and assay tasks as specified by Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and GCP.
  • Collaborate with the team to maintain laboratory housekeeping, including waste management, equipment maintenance, and inventory control.
  • Operate laboratory equipment, such as incubators, microbiological safety cabinets, and balances, to ensure accurate and reliable results.

Requirements

  • GCSE or BTEC in a Science subject
  • Previous laboratory experience, with a strong understanding of GCP and SOPs
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
