We are seeking a highly skilled Materials Coordinator to join our team at Johnson Controls International. As a key member of our supply chain team, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of materials to our production sites.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the scheduling of material deliveries to meet production requirements and minimum safety stock levels.
  • Manage risks to minimize impact on production schedules and take follow-up actions in relation to material shortages that affect production.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and identify areas of improvement.
  • Ensure data accuracy and generate and communicate supplier material delivery schedules and forecasts to ensure they reflect requirements and meet demands.
  • Develop and maintain good relationships with suppliers and ensure demand for materials is met and deliveries made on time.
  • Support supplier meetings, resolve supplier concerns, and evaluate supplier performance.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders and adhere to any health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of self, staff, and visitors.
  • Own the MRP data for assigned SKU's.

Requirements:

  • Excel Intermediate
  • Sound ERP/MRP understanding
  • Proactively contributes to the team
  • Strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Self-motivated and able to work under pressure
  • Assertive, optimistic, resilient, and welcomes change

  • Experience of working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
