About the Role

We are seeking a Theatre Clinical Support Assistant to join our team in Ilford Hospital.

As a Theatre Clinical Support Assistant, you will provide support to qualified staff, ensuring a safe and effective clinical service is provided to all users across the Theatre.

You will be responsible for providing a patient-focused service within the unit, expanding your role appropriately under supervision and guidance of a trained nurse.

This will include ensuring documentation is kept up to date, liaising with other providers and the wider team at the hospital.

You will also take responsibility for booking pre-assessment appointments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to qualified staff in the Theatre
  • Ensure a safe and effective clinical service is provided
  • Provide a patient-focused service within the unit
  • Ensure documentation is kept up to date
  • Book pre-assessment appointments

Requirements:

  • Experience as a Healthcare Assistant
  • Strong understanding of how a Theatre operates
  • Ability to work under supervision and guidance of a trained nurse
