Key Responsibilities and Expectations
  • Deliver targeted support to pupils in small groups or one-on-one, focusing on the primary curriculum.
  • Develop strategies to manage complex pupil behaviour, promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with pupils in various settings, including homes, libraries, or cafes, tailoring support to meet their unique needs.
  • Occasionally provide support to secondary pupils, demonstrating your flexibility and adaptability.
Requirements and Skills
  • Experience working as a Teaching Assistant within a primary school setting, with a deep understanding of the primary curriculum.
  • Proven ability to work effectively with pupils who exhibit challenging behaviours, showcasing high levels of resilience and empathy.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.
  • Flexibility to work in diverse settings, including pupils' homes and community spaces.
  • Willingness to occasionally support secondary pupils, as required.
Salary and Benefits Details

A competitive daily rate of £86-£100 is available for this full-time position, commencing January 2025. You will also benefit from opportunities for professional development and training, allowing you to grow professionally and make a positive impact on the lives of pupils.
