About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Manager to join our team at Country Kids Day Nursery. As a Deputy Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the Nursery Manager in leading the day-to-day management of the nursery, ensuring the highest standard of care, development, and education for our children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Nursery Manager in leading the team of practitioners and apprentices
  • Ensure the nursery continues to deliver high-quality care and education
  • Support the development and implementation of nursery policies and procedures
  • Contribute to the recruitment, training, and development of staff
  • Maintain accurate records and reports
Requirements
  • Minimum of a relevant Level 3 qualification in Childcare and Education
  • At least 2 years' post-qualifying experience in a nursery setting
  • Excellent knowledge of safeguarding and EYFS
  • Well-organised, a team player, and able to work to tight deadlines
  • Good IT skills
  • Able to maintain strict confidentiality
