Market Development Manager for Biotech and Pharmaceuticals

We are seeking a highly skilled Market Development Manager to join our team at Syneos Health. As a key member of our business development team, you will play a crucial role in identifying, growing, and expanding new business opportunities within assigned biotechnology, pharmaceutical, and medical device accounts.
Responsibilities- Converting identified opportunities into business through close collaboration with our growth team and internal agency subject matter experts.
- Expanding contacts and relationships within assigned and newly identified accounts by actively working to identify opportunities and leveraging all available channels for outreach.
- Maintaining high levels of knowledge on assigned accounts, including pipeline assets, key contacts, overall Syneos Health footprint, and organizational structure.
- Recording all outreach activity in our CRM system and providing regular reporting to senior leadership.
- Presenting to clients both in-person and virtually, as well as developing strong relationships with agency leaders to understand current business footprint and client map.
- Working closely with the Region Europe Growth Group to convert identified opportunities and develop strong relationships across the wider commercial BD organization.
- Bachelor's degree in business or a science-related field.
- Extensive related BD experience with a track record of sales success.
- Deep understanding of the biopharmaceutical industry, including commercial and medical affairs organizations.
- Able to work and travel internationally, primarily in Europe and the USA.
Syneos Health is dedicated to building a diverse, inclusive, and authentic workplace where everyone has the opportunity to thrive. We offer a competitive salary of $85,000 - $110,000 per annum, commensurate with experience, plus additional benefits.
