Senior Project Manager

Aviva is seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to join our team. As a key member of our transformation team, you will be responsible for delivering projects that support Aviva's strategy through successful embedding of change and continuously improving our customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop high-level and detailed delivery plans, identify and manage dependencies and risks, and provide regular project status updates and reports to senior management.
  • Minimise risk by identifying delivery and operational risks and developing mitigating strategies.
  • Lead large internal and external teams and third-party suppliers in a matrix environment.
  • Own a budget (up to £5million) and be responsible for accurate forecasting and monitoring of this.
Requirements:
  • Experience leading fast-paced, complex business and technology transformation, with annual budgets up to £5m.
  • Confident in leading high-profile projects with multiple workstreams through all stages of a project lifecycle.
  • Ability to monitor and report on project progress and ensure adherence to project plans, manage changes to the project scope, schedule, and project costs using appropriate governance, manage project documentation ensuring proper documentation control.
  • Demonstrable experience in contributing to a wider project community, supporting initiatives to drive efficiency into our change delivery and embodying role model behaviours.
What We Offer:
  • National salary range £50,000 - £60,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications).
  • Bonus opportunity 10% of annual salary (actual amount depends on your performance and Aviva's).
