About the Role:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Additional Learning Needs Support Officer to join our team at Teaching Personnel. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting children with additional learning needs in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Prepare engaging learning materials to support children's educational needs
  2. Adapt teaching support to meet the individual needs of each child
  3. Ensure the physical, social, and emotional well-being of children in your care
  4. Create a stimulating and inclusive environment that promotes learning and development
  5. Maintain accurate records and participate in review meetings to ensure the best possible outcomes for children
  6. Collaborate with professionals such as speech and language therapists to provide comprehensive support
  7. Ensure the safeguarding of children at all times

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will require the appropriate qualifications and training. Teaching Personnel is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. We undertake safeguarding checks on all workers in accordance with DfE statutory guidance 'Keeping Children Safe in Education' and may also include an online search as part of our due diligence on shortlisted applicants.
