About the Role

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Music Educator to join our team at Wayman Learning Trust. As a Music Teacher, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality music education to students in Key Stages 3/4.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach music to students in Key Stages 3/4, ensuring a engaging and inclusive learning experience.
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to diverse learning needs and abilities.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to plan and deliver music programs that meet curriculum requirements.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their growth.
  • Contribute to the development of music programs and initiatives that promote student engagement and achievement.
Requirements
  • Relevant degree in Music or a related field.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE).
  • Proven experience in teaching music to students in Key Stages 3/4.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
