\Our ideal candidate will have experience in providing support and care to individuals with learning disabilities and mental health needs. The role involves working in a community setting, supporting clients with daily tasks, promoting their independence and well-being, and facilitating their engagement in community activities.

Key Responsibilities
\The successful candidate will be responsible for:

- Providing support and assistance to clients with daily tasks, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household chores.\
- Organizing leisure activities and outings to promote clients' well-being and social interaction.\
- Working collaboratively with clients to develop and implement individual support plans.\
- Promoting a safe and welcoming environment by conducting home safety checks and supporting clients to maintain a clean and tidy living space.\
- Supporting clients with communication and liaison with external contractors and healthcare professionals.\
- Encouraging clients to engage in community activities, such as access to leisure, fitness, education, and employment opportunities.\
- Maintaining accurate records and reporting incidents or accidents in accordance with company policies and procedures.\
- Conducting risk assessments and contributing to the development of individual support plans.\
- Supporting clients in managing their finances and accessing local services.\
- Developing and maintaining positive relationships with clients, families, and other stakeholders.\
Requirements
\To be successful in this role, you will require:

- A valid full clean UK driving license.\
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.\
- A passion for working with individuals with learning disabilities and mental health needs.\
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.\
- Basic computer skills and ability to use digital technologies.\
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to data protection principles.\
- Willingness to undertake training and professional development opportunities.\
