About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our In-Flight Retail Commercial and Customer Experience Teams as a Buying and Merchandising Assistant. This is an exciting opportunity to support the development, management, and promotion of our product range, while gaining valuable skills and experience through a Level 4 Buying and Merchandising Apprenticeship.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the In-Flight Retail Commercial Team:
    • Request and log samples from suppliers, manage samples for internal activities, and obtain supplier pricing and sales data.
    • Carry out monthly benchmarking of product and pricing to ensure competitiveness for customers.
  • Support the In-Flight Retail Customer Experience Team:
    • Analyze customer and sales data to inform product ranging decisions and marketing campaigns.
    • Monitor customer feedback and manage Crew Hub content to share key customer insights with crew colleagues.
    • Brief in-flight marketing changes for centralized campaigns and supplier-funded activity.
Requirements
  • GCSE Maths & English (or equivalent) at grade A-C (9-4)
  • No existing qualification at the same or higher level in a similar subject
  • Resident in the UK for 3 years
  • Highly organized and structured approach to tasks
  • Motivated and able to work to tight deadlines
  • Methodical and detail-oriented
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
