Job Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our School Attendance Support Team as an Apprentice Resilience Officer.

This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children and families by promoting excellent school attendance and understanding the importance of education.

As a key champion of vulnerable children, you will work as part of a child-centred multi-disciplinary team to ensure statutory duties are fulfilled, including elective home education and children missing education.

You will have experience working in an education, health, or social work setting and a good understanding of statutory guidance relating to school inclusion and attendance.

This role is suitable for flexible working arrangements, subject to the needs of the service.

Requirements:

  • Enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service Check + DBS Children's Barred List
  • 6 months continuous service and satisfactory completion of probationary period
  • Current Plymouth City Council apprentices must contact the recruiting manager for support

About the Role:
