Construction Industry Trainer

A permanent position has become available at a leading college in Northamptonshire, offering an exciting opportunity to teach and develop construction courses.
Key Details:
- The salary for this role is £33,487 - £39,341 per annum.
- Bonus: A £6k Levelling Up fund will be provided for candidates joining from industry over the first two years.
To be successful in this position, you should have a Level 3 qualification in a Construction trade (brickwork or multi-skills), relevant industry experience, and a commitment to ongoing Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
Main Responsibilities- Deliver engaging teaching across brickwork or multi-skills, ensuring learners meet their targets.
- Manage and tutor courses, contributing to curriculum development and responding to industry needs.
- Undertake internal verification, auditing, and quality checks to maintain high standards.
- Stay up-to-date with sector developments and best practices.
- A Level 3 qualification in a Construction trade (brickwork or multi-skills) is essential.
- Relevant industry experience is required.
- Fully supported teaching qualification and £6k Levelling Up fund for those joining from industry are also beneficial.
- A GCSE grade C or equivalent in English & Maths is necessary.
- Ongoing CPD commitment is expected.
- This role offers 44 days annual leave including bank holidays and up to 5 college closure days.
