Job Title: Site Manager

Job Summary:

Fox Construction Recruitment is seeking an experienced and competent Site Manager to join our team. As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation of roofing systems, ensuring compliance with health and safety plans, and supervising the installation of materials and labor.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Write method statements for all temporary site arrangements as required by the Site Manager.
  • Comply with all aspects of construction phase Health and Safety plans regarding all temporary site arrangements.
  • Supervise the installation of all roofing systems as per the manufacturer's instructions and specifications.
  • Check materials and labor is on site in accordance with programme requirements, as required to produce good quality work.
  • Ensure there is a safe system of work in place for all roofing activities and scaffolding, and that safety equipment is provided at the correct time.
  • Inform the Contract Manager or Senior Structural Engineer of any changes in the roofing or associated areas, and ensure agreed variations are adhered to.
  • Issue, monitor, and check day-to-day work of roof workers & sub-contractors.
  • Staff: Direct reports being from the Contract Manager.

Requirements:

  • CSCS
  • Knowledge of Roofing products
  • CITB SMSTS Certificate
  • Asbestos Awareness Training
  • Full Driving Licence
  • 5 years of Roofing expertise in all aspects of roof infrastructure works including flat, pitched, associated works and specialist roofing systems and site and personnel management.
