About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Chef/Senior Sous Chef to join our team at a renowned country pub in Farnham. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will play a vital role in creating a menu that showcases local produce and traditional pub classics with a modern twist.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement menus that meet our high standards of quality and consistency.
  • Lead a dedicated kitchen team, ensuring that every dish meets our expectations.
  • Maintain a clean and efficient kitchen, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative working environment.
  • Contribute to the development of new seasonal dishes and specials.
  • Assist in the management of inventory and stock.
Requirements
  • Previous experience as a Senior Sous Chef or Head Chef in a high-quality kitchen environment.
  • Passion for using fresh, local ingredients and creating seasonal dishes.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
  • A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards.
About the Client

Our client is a well-established country pub located in Farnham, known for its welcoming atmosphere and commitment to providing an exceptional dining experience. The kitchen has a strong emphasis on using fresh, local ingredients, and the pub itself is a cornerstone of the local community.

Working Hours

This is a full-time role, including weekends and evenings, with a guaranteed 35-48 hours per week.
