Job Title: Attendance Officer

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Attendance Officer to join our team at GSL Education. As an Attendance Officer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate attendance records and ensuring the smooth running of administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and manage student attendance daily, ensuring all records are up to date.
  • Provide administrative support to the school office, including filing, data entry, and handling inquiries.
  • Communicate effectively with parents, carers, and staff regarding student attendance and punctuality.
  • Assist in the preparation of reports and documentation for school management.
  • Liaise with external agencies and stakeholders as needed.
  • Support the school's safeguarding team by ensuring accurate record-keeping and reporting.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar Admin/Attendance Officer role within a school environment.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in using school management software and Microsoft Office.
  • A proactive and positive attitude, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection policies.
