Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Sexual Health Nurse to join our team at the Royal Orthopaedic Hospital. As a key member of our nursing team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care to patients in our Sexual Health Services.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive sexual health services to patients, including contraception and reproductive healthcare.
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and community partners.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical guidelines and best practices in sexual health.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse/Midwife with current registration.
  • R71/ENB901 qualification in contraception and reproductive healthcare or equivalent.
  • ENB998/997 or equivalent.
  • Health-related Degree.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Recent clinical experience in working in Contraception and Reproductive Healthcare.
  • Experience in screening for sexually transmitted infections.
  • Recent clinical experience in working with under 16s.
  • Delivery of LARC methods of contraception.
