The Product organization at State Street is seeking a highly skilled data solutions analyst to support the Custody Data Management lead globally. This role will partner with the Product team, Global Delivery, and Technology to execute on the custody data strategy, focusing on data delivery channels, logical data model, cloud native data platform, and data insight progression of analysis, visualization, and prediction.
Key Responsibilities:- Initiate and support the design and development of solutions to close identified data gaps in alignment with the strategy to build a data-driven operating model.
- Work with the data practice lead to effectively execute on the overall strategic agenda, including the assessment of available market intelligence and stakeholder feedback to support the evolution of the custody business data needs.
- Partner with technology, office of architecture, operations, and enterprise data management to execute on the strategy to build a data-driven operating model, covering logical data modeling, data channels, data governance, and quality.
- Participate in iterative technology development and ensure change remains aligned to existing standards and/or internal enterprise data management policies.
- Support the design and efficiency of the operating model, including the development of operational control oversight and dashboard across the custody capability with actionable workflows.
- Partner with product control in the development of the custody product data visualization platform to provide insight into the business.
- Ensure appropriate governance, compliance with policies/frameworks, and oversight of issues, risks, audit, and compliance items related to data topics.
- Present to senior management as requested and lead delivery of initiatives as required.
- Background or experience in data solutions, data modeling, analysis, and visualization.
- Good understanding of the custody domain and capabilities to make informed decisions and data related to this subject area.
- Ability to present data solutions in a way that is both understandable and compelling.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with an ability to navigate the organization.
- Prior experience of successfully delivering change in a complex environment while managing competing environments and delivering projects using Agile and Waterfall techniques.
- Track record of working in the data space with ISO standards and development of data solutions to solve problems.
- With 3 to 6+ years' experience in Securities Services (product, ops, business analysis).
- Prior experience working in data and/or technology, familiarity with tools such as JavaScript, Python, SQL, Hadoop, Snowflake, Qlik, Tableau, Microsoft Excel, Artificial intelligence, Collibra, Manta.
- Track record of solving data integration challenges and building data solutions across complex and at scale services.
