Dessert Expert Wanted for Luxury Hotel in the Lake District

We are looking for a highly skilled Pastry Chef to join our team at a luxury hotel in the Lake District. As a senior member of our culinary team, you will assist our new Head Pastry Chef in managing the dedicated pastry kitchen and contribute to the creation of exquisite desserts for our guests.

To succeed in this role, you will need to have extensive experience working in a fresh food-led kitchen and on a pastry section in a similar level of kitchen to a minimum 1 rosette standard. You should also be passionate about learning from a very well-respected Head Pastry Chef and contributing to the success of our hotel.

Our hotel offers a competitive salary up to £30,000 per annum, paid overtime, relocation assistance for chefs moving to the area, and a lovely kitchen environment to work in.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Head Pastry Chef in managing the pastry kitchen
  • Create exquisite desserts for our guests
  • Contribute to the success of our hotel through exceptional service and quality of food

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience working in a fresh food-led kitchen
  • Experience working on a pastry section in a similar level of kitchen to a minimum 1 rosette standard
  • A passion for learning from a very well-respected Head Pastry Chef
