Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Physiotherapist to join our team as a Disability Assessor. As a Disability Assessor, you will play a crucial role in assessing individuals and determining how their disabilities or conditions affect their work life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough medical assessments of individuals to determine the impact of their disabilities or conditions on their work life.
  • Use your clinical expertise to gather medical history and perform physical examinations.
  • Produce concise and accurate reports for the Department of Work & Pensions (DWP) to inform benefit eligibility decisions.
  • Meet with individuals face-to-face and via telephone/video, demonstrating sensitivity, compassion, and best practice standards.
Requirements
  • Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP) membership.
  • Continuous Professional Development (CPD) present on CV.
  • IT skills and experience with a range of software.
  • Self-awareness and focus on professional development.
  • Motivation to contribute to quality customer service, demonstrating empathy, respect, and sensitivity in assessment delivery.
