Teaching Drama in a Dynamic Environment

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Drama teacher to join our team at a wonderful school in Harrow. In this role, you will have the opportunity to inspire and motivate students in the exciting world of drama, helping them build confidence, develop important life skills, and explore their creativity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver engaging drama lesson plans that cater to students of various age groups and skill levels
  • Teach drama classes that promote creativity, self-expression, and teamwork
  • Collaborate with colleagues to coordinate drama productions and performances that showcase student talent
  • Provide constructive feedback and guidance to students on their performances and progress
  • Assess and evaluate student performances to monitor and track individual progress
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Drama, Performing Arts, or a related field
  • Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent certification
  • Proven experience as a Drama teacher, preferably in a primary/secondary school setting
  • Strong knowledge of drama and performing arts curriculum and best practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to effectively manage a classroom of students and maintain a positive learning environment
