About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Specialist to join our team at Dorset Clinical Commissioning Group. As a Clinical Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients in emergency and minor injury settings.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert clinical care to patients in emergency and minor injury settings
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care
- Develop and implement effective care plans to meet the needs of patients
- Contribute to the development of clinical policies and procedures
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care
Requirements
- Registered Nurse or Emergency Care Practitioner qualification in a Specialist field to degree/diploma level
- Supplemented by diploma level specialist training and/or short courses, or equivalent level of experience
- Non-Medical Prescriber V300
- Working knowledge of current IR(ME)Regulations and interpretation of x-rays of the appendicular skeleton
- Safeguarding level 2 adult and level 3 child experience
Desirable Criteria
- Experience of working in emergency and/or minor injury and/or ailment care
- Recent previous experience of working within a customer-focused environment
- Previous experience of working with a multidisciplinary team
Personal Qualities
- Ability to organise self and others when sudden changes in workload
- Good communication skills both written and verbal
