Job Title: Freight Forwarding Coordinator

Job Summary:

Freight Personnel is seeking an experienced Freight Forwarding Coordinator to join our team in the European Road Freight department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating the export road freight operations, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with clients, hauliers, and agents to plan and execute export groupage consignments
  • Prepare and manage export documentation, including customs clearance and transit procedures
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, hauliers, and agents to ensure excellent customer service
  • Monitor and optimize freight operations to minimize costs and maximize efficiency
  • Collaborate with the team to achieve departmental and company goals

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in freight forwarding or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of export regulations and procedures
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and freight management software
