At Melton Borough Council, we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced, forward-thinking individual to lead our Housing Assets Team as the Senior Planned Maintenance Surveyor.

  • This role leads the Planned Maintenance Team to deliver a tenant-focused planned maintenance service, including capital and cyclical maintenance programs.
  • Responsibilities include contract management, performance monitoring, and driving improvements.
  • You will be a strong leader, confident to work independently, and have a flexible attitude to working under pressure and in response to a changing regulatory environment.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in a planned maintenance team at a senior level, knowledge of health and safety legislation, and experience managing construction contracts with a value over £1 million.

A thorough working knowledge of Housing Management Systems, the Microsoft Office Suite, and Excel is essential. You will also maintain and update electronic information systems in accordance with data protection regulations.
